Question of the Day - Best Vacation

I'm very excited to go on vacation on Friday but sadly, my dad can not make our annual family beach trip this year. He'll definitely be there in spirit and all week I've been thinking of things my dad did on previous beach trips. Here's a short list:

Let's see, there was the year that we went for a "short" walk and actually crossed from NC into SC. Then he had blisters on the bottom of his feet and couldn't walk the rest of the week.

Almost every year he gets sunburned because one of us forgets to watch him.

Quite a few years he had to go to the doctor to get his ears blown out (long story).

One year he had just had surgery on his achilles tendon and all he could do was ride a bike all day long. (A la Wicked Witch of the West style.)

And the most famous dad beach moment was when my mom was driving our car and my dad yelled at her in traffic like a crazy person, "Go go go go go go!" We still imitate that one to this day. Ah ... memories!

Question of the Day: What was your best vacation ever?
